Frequently asked questions.
My numbers are spread across spreadsheets and a CRM. Can you still give me one clear view?
Usually, yes. The entry offer works from one data source, so at setup we find the one file or export that holds most of what you need to see. If your five KPIs genuinely need more than one source, we tell you upfront and quote for it, rather than squeezing it in and giving you a view you can’t trust.
My data is messy. Is that a problem?
Messy data is normal. During setup we look at what you have and tell you plainly what can be reported reliably and what needs tidying first. We won’t put a number on your dashboard that we can’t stand behind.
How do we choose the right five KPIs?
We start from the decisions you make in your monthly management meeting and work back to the numbers that inform them. For most businesses that means a mix of sales, pipeline, conversion and delivery, but the five are agreed with you, not picked from a template.
How much work will this create for me or my team?
Very little. You send the file or export you already produce, once a month. You don’t need new software, new systems or a data analyst.
What happens when the dashboard shows a problem?
It shows you where to look early, while there is still time to act. The decisions stay with you and your team. If you want help getting to the cause, that is exactly the kind of work Linchpin’s wider consulting does, and we can discuss it separately.
Will you keep our numbers confidential?
Yes. Your data is used only to prepare your dashboard. If you’d like a confidentiality agreement in place first, ask us before you send anything.
Is it live, or updated monthly?
Monthly, in time for your monthly review. It is not a live, real-time dashboard, and we won’t pretend otherwise.
What does it cost, and am I locked in?
R1,500 per month, incl. VAT, with setup and the KPI discussion included. It is month-to-month, with no minimum contract.
Can it grow with the business?
Yes. Once you’re up and running, more KPIs, data sources or dashboards can be quoted separately.
